What’s the difference between cue and fades?

You have some control over the cues and fades of your files in both individually in your Smart Blocks and Playlists, and in AutoDJ in your general Airtime settings (Settings > General).

 Look for this icon to adjust the fades for your Playlists and Smart Blocks.

Cues allow you to set starting and end points on a file. Airtime doesn't use cues, but you can adjust the Fades for your tracks to obtain a smoother transition between songs.  Fades ins allow you to set a duration over which a file starts to increase in volume at the beginning of the track. Fade outs allow you to set a duration over which a track deceases in volume at the end of a track.
